Solar Sales Consultant — Fresno, Visalia/Tulare

Unlimited Energy, Inc, one of the largest solar contractors in California, is seeking a Solar Sales Consultant for our Fresno office. We are also looking for a consultant to service the Visalia and Tulare areas. The position will focus primarily on residential photovoltaic sales with qualified leads provided. We are looking for an articulate, motivated, and well organized person to meet sales goals while providing a high level of customer service.

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience with grid-tied solar electric installation, design, or sales
• Strong math and computer skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, MS Visio, AutoCad
• Experience in technical sales
• Understanding of general construction
• Desire to stay on the leading edge of the Renewable Energy industry
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Experience with CRM tools such as SalesForce or Sugar CRM

Position Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Sales of residential and commercial solar electric systems
• Attending ongoing training sessions in and out of the office
• Prospecting for and qualifying leads
• Conducting site evaluations for potential customers, Rough system design
• Analysis of customers’ needs based on their best interests
• Negotiating contracts
• Communicating with project manager regarding system design
• Logging all communications with customers in contact database
